Beware of scam non-profit organization for the deaf!
Dear members and guests,
It has come to my attention that a deaf fraudster, Richard Roehm III set up a FAKE non-profit organization, Orange County Deaf Advocacy Center to sever the deaf community. He has no permits to receive charities.
Mr. Roehm recruited many deaf people to fill out confidential applications including social security information. He shared his clients' backgrounds to other people without permissions.
Mr. Roehm collected old, dead hearing aid batteries from Starkey Corporation and sold to deaf people for charities. However, all monies went to his pockets.
Mr. Roehm battered and assaulted his ex-wife and later found a new program, Deaf Domestic Violence Prevention. Mr. Roehm has a lengthy history of domestic violence. For more information, contact Peggie Reyna, Deaf and Disabled Services Project Director at 213-955-9090 or [email protected]
Mr. Roehm has slandered hundreds of deaf and hearing people in the deaf community by sending out DEAF WATCH newsletters with false information to the whole deaf recipients.

Mr. Roehm has changed his non-profit organizations in one year finding some ways to cheat and pull monies out of deaf clients' pockets. His current/former organizations are:
