On Saturday, January 3rd two plainclothed Andover police officers knocked on Room #252 at The Courtyard by Marriott in Andover, Massachusetts. They told the lady inside that they were repairmen hired by the hotel to fix a leak. The 21 year old Australian girl (Carli McBride) opened the door and was immediately grabbed around her throat and pushed to the wall. As the man held her neck he told her that he was a police officer and flashed an Andover Police Badge. He demanded to know where her money was.
"You have two options. You can tell us where the money is and we will split it, orwe can tear this place up and take it all when we're through."
Carli got the money and told the police that it was all she had. They took all $4000.00 that she had earned as an escort. As the men were counting the money, a uniformed officer arrived and screamed that they should arrest her and take the money.in the end, the took it all and told her that she had 15 minutes to leave.
Once the officers left her hotel room, Carli called the hotel manager and reported that 3 men had robbed her (believing that the 3 were merely impersonating police officers). Much to her dismay, the three thugs returned to the room and told her that they would kill her if she mentioned another word of the theft.
As far as I am concerned the Andover Police Department is as corrupt as any big city PD. THe FBI has been notified and hopefully they will deal with these scumbags who are supposed to uphold the law, not break it.
