I have received letters from Saint Matthews for a few years now. And on and off I would read them and a couple of times I have sent them money. Today however I got a letter from them and decided to check them out on the web. I had did this before and found nothing. So I wrote to them and telling them I wanted to attend one of their churches, and I got no response. Today I found this Ripoff site and boy did it all come together for me. I had my doubts about this so called church, but at times they would say just what I needed to hear. Now I think, "boy are they good"! I noticed their letters are copyright, they use old pictures of people 1970"s, they send you no year end contribution statement, they lean more toward witchcraft (with lucky numbers, etc.), they ask you to do things that the Bible doesn't require, and they use subtle scare tactics. I go to a real Church and this cannot be a "real Church". I feel sad for older people who send some of their fixed income to support these frauds! What can we do to stop them and their letters from coming!!
