My experience with this company is one like non other. After training and learning their rules and regulations for one week I was shocked to learn how they pretend to honor the citzens rights but in actuality they are getting over on the citzens of Los Angeles and those who visit.

Many people can vouch for me when I say they are completly waisting tax payers dollars and time. The company which is contracted by the city has a system in which they fimly beleive could not be touched by any other Parking Violations bureau. This is because they are giving their consumers the run around. It takes about six months to investigate a meter reported broken and more than 30 days to issue a citzen a refund. Most citzens on average constest a ticket for 6 months. Many are issued tickets to cars they no longer own even after changing ownership at the DMV. The money collected from the parking tickets is generated to the City's general fund which should be the city greatest flow of money.

Many citzens who call, often out-of-state citizens state they have never recieved a ticket on their car and don't know they even have a ticket until the fine is in penelty or collections. For out of state citzens they are given 21 days to pay the ticket even if they did not recieve the actual citaion. If a citzen has an unapplied amount of money on their account the customer representives are instructed not to reveal this information to them. Why wouldn't they disclose the fact that one has paid too much? They don't honor post marked payments. Most of the customer service reps are inarticulant and have very bad attitudes when dealing with the citzens. I've seen it with my own eyes.

I notice the parking enforcement officers issue tickets in error the majority of the time. They are allowed to issue a citation while standing yards away from the citzens car. They are also known to lie on citzens out of spite. I think someone needs to follow one around for a day and see what I mean.

I was offered the job unexpectedly and was shocked at how I was treated. With a degree in Communications my customer service stood out like a soar thumb. Unfortunalty I was haressed by their employees who are leads and I walked away from the position. Their incentive plan must have been made by a greedy individual because it doesn't sound like it will motivate the worker but force them to work hard. It is called ABC.in order to recieve compensation one has to have 105-99% call completion rate. To maintain your base salary one has to have 98-97% call compleation rate. Your base salary can be reduced in your call completion rat is less then what is stated above. They expect you to complete the call within three minutes. As a minority based group of employees who are of the lower class, don't releaze this type of incentive plan can hender their chances at advancing especially when they are dealing with such vital issues as parking tickets.
