The City of Los Angeles Parking Violations BOOTED my car unlawfully on Friday afternoon
I had paid my tickets at the DMV and received my car registration at the same time weeks prior to this BOOTING
However even though the City of Los Angeles Parking violation Bureau communicates with the DMV regarding outstanding parking tickets they DO NOT communicate with each other when they have been PAID
To be BOOTED in Los Angeles one has to have ACCUMULATED five or more DELINQUENT PARKING Tickets
EVEN though I got a ride to a PARKING VIOLATION BUREAU location that day and did show proof of payment with the DMV and current registration...
They still made me pay a $150.00 BOOTING fee plus PAY 3 other tickets that were not due and I was in the process of contesting THEY TOOK MY RIGHT TO CONTEST them away
(These 3 tickets were 4 no front plate HOWEVER my front plate had been knocked off and was on the dashboard in clear view I had to go to the dealer to remount Which I did
BUT the 3 days prior they ticketed my car daily)
I did NOT fall within the guidelines of being BOOTED yet was treated as though I was and fined
Is there anything I can do to these THIEVES??? Is there anyone out there with any knowledge of what I can do what action I can take against this BUREAU to RIGHT this unfair UNJUST ILLEGAL CONDUCT CAN I SUE THEM?
