I received this email on my phone 12/01 that I had won a free $1000 Target gift card. Although I have a Target charge card, I didn't remember entering any contest with them. The message stated I had 24 hours to "claim" my card by going online and entering a code. A phone number 404-895-7200 was listed, but when I dialed it, I was informed that the person I called had not set up their voice mailbox.
Actually, for one second I did think that I had won something, but that old adage came back - If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't.
