I finished a short survey that popped up from groupon. It said I would receive a free gift if I paid a $2.95 shipping fee. (there were 4 to chose from) I did receive the product and my credit card was charged $2.95 on November 13. On November 26th I saw a charge for 89.95, which I did not make, on my online bank statement. I saw that the charge was made by ananacs.com so I looked it up on the internet and found scambook. I have called their customer service repeatedly and can not get a refund. There was never any mention of a trial, a time limit or a monthly charge. There was also no written information included with the item I was sent. I had to cancel my bank card so they could not charge on it again.
I have called them repeatly. I have been hung up on, transferred to another "department" and disconnected, have "cut out" so they couldn't hear me. I have also been offered a 25% discount and a 40% discount, but I demanded a full refund because I feel I was lied to.
