On Nov. 8 a "Get It Free" website offered MarkMax watch for shipping and handling. Two weeks after selection of watch my bank account was charged $98.00. The watch was not received until Nov. 23 which was more than two weeks after the offer. I called the company and they told me I did not read the fine print which supposedly said the watch was to be returned in 14 days or my account would be charged. I told them it was a scam and they denied that. I did not see any statement to the effect that I would be charged, etc. And, furthermore, the watch was not received until after the 14 days. Even if it had been received sooner and I had been aware of the so called "fine print, " I would not have had enough time to return it before the 14 day time limit. This was a scam.
