Following an on line purchase from Amazon, I was asked to complete an on line survey, after which, for the price of shipping and handling I would be sent a mans watch. Anyway I received the first watch, and then started receiving a watch every month. When I checked this company has been charging me every month. When I called my bank they told me they could do nothing until I called up the company and disputed the charges. Long story short I called the company and talked to a seemingly nice lady named Monique. She pretty much told me that I did not read the small print about having 14 days to return the first watch or they would bill me $98. Then they would automatically send me a watch a month and bill me $49 each time. I don't remember the small print on the survey. But she told me if the bank went to their website there it is. I told her I wanted her to cease and desist from sending me any more watches. She gave me a 6 digit number. I called my bank back and they told me all they could do is block Markmax from any transactions on my card for 18 months. So looks like I'm out $198.
