E-Love
Fraud/False Advertising

I paid $1199.00 for a 6-month membership with E-Love earlier this year in 2012. I am very disappointed with their services and believe they committed an act of fraud against me. I was promised 6 quality dates, received only 5 dates, and none of my dates were quality dates. I was told that part of the money that I paid was to cover a background check.

I asked for dates with specific kinds of women, namely, women in their 40's, good-looking, physically fit, and devout Christians. Twice, E-Love matched me up with married women-women who were separated, yet still married. When I told Nicole, the matchmaker, that this was poor match-making, she commented that it is difficult to sift through every detail. I reminded her that I'm a Christian and for me to date a married woman is against my Christian faith.

Another one of my dates identified herself as a Christian, but when I asked her if she prayed, read her Bible or went to church, she replied, "No." Obviously, this woman was not very well scrutinized by E-Love. Another woman I was paired with turned out to be very heavy and told me that she had lost over 100 pounds. She had lots of flab hanging from her arms. When I reminded Nicole that I am a physically fit person and that I specifically asked for someone who was physically fit also, she commented that match-making is not a perfect science and that she would keep trying to pair me up properly.

Another woman who I went out with, my first match, was also overweight and had heavy make-up on. She was not "good-looking at all, in my opinion. Another date that I went out with appeared to be in decent shape, but she was not good-looking, and she was not a practicing Christian. My 6th date, I was assured by Nicole, was very good-looking, but she wound up cancelling on me and changed her mind about going out with me. When I called Nicole later to tell her this, she mentioned that this was my last date and that my membership was now fulfilled. When I complained to her that the cancellation was not my fault, she said "That's too bad. This ends the contract."

In short, I was not satisfied with any of my dates. I believe that E-Love is guilty of fraud and false advertisement. They broke my contract by not making good on their promise to give me not even one quality date. Also, all of my dates were blind dates. I was not allowed to even see a picture of one of my dates. I wish I would have been given this opportunity because I would have disapproved of every date. Nicole mentioned to me that I was welcome to sign up again for an extended membership for additional money, but I told her that I did not trust her match-making skills and that I was not convinced that they had within their system the kind of quality dates that I was looking for. I told her that I would be filing a complaint. Any help that I can get to help me recoup my money would be greatly appreciated. I also don't want to see other people taken advantage of like I was.
