On 6-19, I had my 2002 Dodge Durango (silver) towed to Mr. Mechanic. I informed the mechanic on duty (Tony) that the truck had suddenly stalled out while I was driving. The truck had never given me any problems, or showed any signs of a problem prior to stalling out. On 6-22, I paid Mr. Mechanic $590, and retrieved the Durango. On 6-22 on the way home from Mr. Mechanic, the Durango stalled out while driving. I called a tow truck and returned the Durango to Mr. Mechanic immediately. I was told by the mechanic on duty (Tony) that he would take care of it. On 6-29 I was told that I owed an additional $560. I informed the mechanic (Tony) that according to my receipt, it should have been covered by warranty. I was told that I could not have my truck back, if I did not pay the $560. I paid the money under protest, feeling that my truck was being held hostage. On the way home the truck once again stalled out. I called Mr. Mechanic to inform/complain that the problem had not been fixed, and that I wanted a refund. I was told by the mechanic (Tony) "let it sit for a couple hours, and see what happens". I did as I was instructed to no avail. I proceeded to call Mr. Mechanic again, and was told that I should take it to another mechanic.
