On December 12, I had a service call for a yearly check on my washer. At that time, I had also requested a check on my dryer for $39.99. I told the technician that the dryer was making a noise. He said that it was because the dryer was cold.
On December 21st the technician returned to make a repair on the washer that was diagonsed on the 12th. I again told him that the dryer was making a noise. Once again, He said that it was because it was cold.
Now the dryer is making a louder noise that lasts longer in duration. I called this morning and spoke with a Blair. And than Elizabeth.

I requested that a technician come and check the dryer without a diagnostic fee since it was not diagnosed on the 12th. I was told that this could not happen. Blair transferred me to Elizabeth when I requested to speak to a manager. We spent 45 minutes on the phone and the response was that the only way a technician would come out was that I pay $ 129 fee and then pay for the repairs. Before the call ended, Elizabeth offered a $40.00 discount on the $129.00 fee plus repairs cost.
I fell that since I paid for a diagnoistic fee on 12/12 that this should cover the initial fee and that I would pay for the repair parts only.
At this time, I am waiting for a call from a manger.
Can you help me with this problem. I have been a long time customer of Sears.
