Guitar center claimed my guitar on insurance and reported stolen after purchase

I pawned my gibson flying v to get my car tagged. When i went to the pawn shop three weeks later to retrieve it, they informed me that the police had it. I bought the thing directly from guitar center, who had then reported it stolen. I was really angry for several reasons. It was a pain in the butt to retrieve and since i pawned it, i was on the hook for felony theft. I called and chewed the manager out for a good hour, refusing to hang up until they resolved the matter. When everything was said and done, they sent me a package of strings.
