I will never ever shop at a Guitar Center ever again. The people at the one in Rancho Cucamonga, CA have no idea whatsoever about even tuning a guitar. I got an APX700II 12 string guitar that had to be ordered. It got back-ordered so I waited, which is fine. It came in today, after a month so I went to pick it up. The man talked for 15 minutes about how much he hates 12-strings and then took about a half hour to tune my guitar wrong. We had to BUY batteries at a grossly inflated price to even hear my guitar plugged in. After we liked the guitar, We tried the case that had been recommended by another employee at the same store. It was an inch too small. The headstock didn't fit in the designated area and the neck didn't lie on the neck rest. The manager came over, forcibly shuts the case (making my brand new guitar emit a very sad Don't-Do-That sound) and says 'see, it fits. It's fine.' it takes him a long time to finally agree with us. All in all, the customer service here was appalling. I will never return.
