Frustrated without powe

I live in the town of islip in the north brentwood area and I am a type 1 diabetic and depend on insulin, at times its difficult to see where i am injecting myself without the proper lighting. I have already lost food and meds that need refrigeration. I spoke to a LIPA rep that informed me there is nothing they can do that i will need to seek help from a local ambulance to keep my meds refrigerated. To make matters more frustrating every streeet in my area has power including the streets next to us on loraine between hudson ave & orient ave how could this be.
