I bought two 'leather' chairs from grandin road 4-5 years ago believing they were genuine leather. They were advertised as leather chairs and cost $399 each which reflects a reasonable price for genuine leather furniture. These lightly used chair seats began peeling and cracking over the last few months revealing that they were made with 'bonded leather' not real leather. Real leather improves with age. I contacted grandin road with my complaint (including photos) and asked for replacement, repair, slipcovers, or compensation toward replacements. They responded that my warranty had expired and offered $79 toward a future purchase. I responded that i don't believe fraudulent/deceptive advertised/sold products have a warranty. I received no response.
