I ordered Lipo Slim and Natural Cleanse from Healthier Balance and was charges S&H of $4.95 & $4.94 (even though both bottles were shipped in same container) with order date of 9/7. The product failed to provide results as advertised so I called 9/24 to cancel further shipments. It wasn't til I got my bank statement that I found I was charged $79.98 & $79.99. I called back on 10/11 & was advised my trial period ended on 9/21,3 days before I cancelled. I advised that I didn't receive product until after the shipment date of 9/12 and that they should atleast consider the shipment date not the order date for the start of the trial period because how can you try the product when you don't even have it until atleast five days before order (9/7) and shipping (/12/12). This is not a 14 day trial period. Also how can they charge for first shipment when they advertise you pay for S&H only. I also contend that Healthier Balance has bad business practices and do not advertise this product with the full details of their refund and charging policy. I am filing an action in small claims court for a full refund including S&H and $25 court costs. I will also see if I can get punitive damages as this company does not reveal all purchasing information and their business practices are misleading and blatantly misrepresentation.
