Just settled with Healthier Balance (only few hours after I filed my complaint)& have some useful information. If they have already charged you, tell them you will file Small Claims Court Action, asking for full refund, court costs ($25.00 in Michigan) and punitive damages (punishment damages) at treble (3 times) the damages that you are asking in your refund. You have to have street address (no po box#) to file in court. Their address is: Solaris Science, LLC aka Healthier Balance, aka Health Products, LLC @2401 E. 32nd St #10-105, Joplin, MO 64804. Phone #'s for them are 1-888-242-6470 or 1-888-926-9873 til 6pm PST. If no one shows at court for the company you can get a "default judgement" awarding you all the damages under the law. Most always they don't have the personnel, money or the time to waste to send someone from the company to court. You still have to submit your docs with your reasoning why you should win your case though. Also if you call them you should ask to be referred to the "escalation dept" and preferably talk to a supervisor in this dept. Let them know about your court filing & your complaint on this website. My main argument was "when does the actual trial period start." They say it is when you place your order, you can argue it should start at the earliest on the date your pkg was shipped (see your packing slip for these dates). How can you start your trial on the day you order when you don't have the product to trial? You can also argue that their wording on their entire website does not say you will be charged in full for your order at the end of the 14 day trial period. It only says to call to cancel "or do nothing & they will bill you "upon completion of your initial order". The word "completion of your initial order" doesn't say its at the end of the 14 day trial period. This is vague and highly suggestive, it could mean anything. I am being refunded $159.97 for cost of two bottles but agreed to pay the S&H of $9.89. Should have refund in 5 biz days. Hope this helps anyone.
