I am talking about AMEX in the UK - I have been a member since 1989 and have seen the service gradually go down. Today I dont think anyone should get a AMEX card in the UK.
Honestly you will regret it. Learn from someone that has been a customer for over twenty years.
Maybe its differnet in the US - the UK AMEX has lost control of customer services. Too many complaints and they know its too much to fix.
Shame cause when i first joined in 1989 they were really not bad. Mind you I only started having problems about 5 years ago. So maybe they were already bad but I wasnt doing much with them.
