Many of you must be having the Amex card like I did (mine ends with 41005 - just to be noted by amex guys) some time back. Believe me, the day i decided to stop using the card my problems surfaced. They do not want to cancel. Till now its activated and they keep crediting and debiting service charges, incase it by about Rs. 150-200 a month and now they are about 900 Rs. I spent more than 4.0 lacs in just 2 yrs. Made all my payments on time, sometimes more than what was asked. And all i got in return was weekly calls to customer care to understand what is happening for my case.
So friends in case you like calling customer care and telling your same problem to different guy each time. Bet me the best place is Amex. They can have a punch line. "At amex - we make sure the customer never forgets us"
