Consumer Report

We received a fax on American Airlines letterhead advertising to all employees Land package for Cancun, Cabo and Jamaica 6days/5nights all inclusive $175.00 pp and bonus in Orlando. Called to book asked if any restrictions ie blackouts or if time share told no was valid for 1 year. Advised needed to sign esign to confirm payment and acceptance of rules, nonrefundable taxes of 99.00 pp to be paid. I paid and I signed, I was advised by the agent someone was going to call to make my booking. I called got my confirmation number, but when tried to book at 1877 764 9967, I was advised it was high season I needed to pay an additional $300.00 pp, I asked when I could use the package and not have to pay more than the taxes, Agent advised May or end of Oct and first 2 weeks of november, and I was advised to phone back 6months ahead, I was given site to look at hotels to choose from at funinthetropics.com. So I called back in May to book for Jamaica, I was advised it was sold out, but now Dominican was available, I asked for Cancun, gave my dates but was advised that November 10 was high season, an additional cost still of 300.00 pp. I asked Josh for refund, advised nonrefundable. Called customer service supervisor, left msg but she did not call back. I emailed still no response, called IRC vacations, they were willing to help but when time came to finalize, they told me the hotel I chose was no longer an option, and that I must contact original booking agent at Sales Mex and Corporate travel. Left message for Manager to ask for my money back, have contacted AA to complain, was advised they did not authorize above company to use their name. I reported dispute. Please be aware these agents use various travel names and all use IRC on their application, do not sign esign you are locked in. Please post if you have been scammed so that we can make sure we all get refunded and to protect others from being scammed. It is too good to be true...
Be aware...
