Fraudulent Charges on Final Bill

This is the current situation I have with Verizon Telecom. Every statement I make is backed up with documentation, logs with dates and times action occurred. Before this incident, I had been a Verizon customer for 4 1/2 years. All bills were paid in full and on time. Was moving and requested that Verizon disconnect current service and move it to new address and I needed to add cable tv using the bundle pkg. Of Direct tv, DSL internet. This was the only way I could afford the services requested. The total cost was more than I wanted but it was not debilitating. On Monday after I moved in, received a call from Verizon that they were unable to connect me as past tenant also had Verizon services but didn't have it disconnected before moving. Only owner of the services or building manager could have this service disconnected. After checking with manager I gave Verizon managers tel#. Direct TV arrived right after the call to install service. Unfortunately they were unable to provide service as dish needs line of sight and they are not allowed to put dish on roof per landlord. No longer being able to afford the service as Fios was much more than I could afford I asked Verizon to cancel the services. Here's where the fun really begins. Cust. Serv. Rep first wanted me to keep Verizon services and acquire cable tv with another agency. Not possible, he then informed me that I had to pay for service up to July 2nd and it was 5/21 when I made request. It took Verizon almost 2 months to send final bill and it was filled with false charges. Verizon claimed my account was delinquent as I owed over $100 in back charges, the disconnect fees, connect fees, more disconnect fees along with more connect fees and charges for equipment I didn't have. I tried to resolve this problem but Verizon's stance was that is what I owe and that it must be paid in full. Within 2 weeks Verizon reported this account delinquent to the credit bureaus. My stance is this: By their own terms of service, I was a month to month subscriber and services can be cancelled immediately upon request with no penalties. My service contract ended after 1st. Year. Monthly fees are paid in advanced and any extra fees (movies, requests) will be on the next month's bill. I had already paid for June's service before I moved. Verizon has already reported to credit bureaus twice that this account is delinquent.in today's environment, a credit score is vitally important. Sending credit bureaus false information of delinquency is tantamount to extortion in my eyes. Do I have any options?
