Cvs caremark
Scammed

To whom it may concern around the begining of August i placed an order by automated phone services provided by CVS Caremark for a 90 day supply of CRESTOR 20 mg. About 1 1/2- 2 weeks later i recieved a 90 day supply of NEXIUM in the amount of $146.24. I DID NOT order this medication and therefore should not have to pay for it. I made numorous phone calls to both my Dr's office and caremark to find out what happened. Apparently caremark saw the nexium as a medication i was taking in the past and decided to send an authorization request to my Dr. (i cant understand why they did this? The last time i ordered Nexium was November) When i asked Daniel supervisor for Caremark why they sent the request to my Dr. For the Nexium he could not give me an answer. He only stated that they could not take the med. Back and that i was responsible for the charges. I asked why they dont claim responsibility and his responce was "your Dr. Didnt have to sign the authorization request". I told him "if a Dr. Recieves an authorization request from a pharmaceutical co. He would assume the patient ordered it and in this case i DID NOT." ON 8/22 I SHIPPED THE MEDICATION BACK CERTIFIED MAIL WITH A NOTARIZED ATTACHED LETTER EXPLAINING THE ABOVE. I have a signed return card showing they recieved the package back on august 27th. Please help me to resolve this matter. I dont feel i am responsible for paying for merchantdise i did not order. Sincerely, John Corrigan
