I noticed a 30$ check on my account when I called my bank they gave me a phone number for pacific advances, I called this company and they told me that I had applied and apparently agreed to a 30$ application fee for a payday advance, when I denied approving this fee the lady took me to an online application on which some of my information was incorrect and I said how do I delete this and she stated that I could not that the company does not delete information and that the only way to get the money returned to me was to complete the unfinished application and accept the loan I dont even want. I refused and when I asked for the money back plus the bank fee I was charged for them taking it they refused and offered me a 100$ gas voucher I refused and asked to speak to a supervisor after waiting on hold for 45 minutes the lady came back and informed me that she was the highest level supervisor in the building and insisted upon giving me the 100$ voucher again. When I asked for specific information on the voucher and how to redeem it she stated that she is unsure. I asked again to just return the 30$ to me and she again rufused and hung up on me. I called my bank again and filed a claim. I hope that no one else has to go through this.
