Pride Hyundai of Seekonk
Consumer Report

Does anyone at Pride know what they are doing? I leased a vehicle there in March and the sales person registered for me in NH where I lived. When I moved to R.I. I tried to transfer the registration to R.I. I was told I needed a copy of the title, power of attorney from leasing co and a vin check. I sent written request to finance co as told. For weeks upon weeks I tried to find out what was happening every time I called put on hold for log. Long periods of times, talked to at least ten differnt people and told 10 different responses. Contacted fiance person Miguel at Pride, told me he did not know what I was talking about and could not help me and to keep calling finance co. He was no help at all. Finally someone at finance co tells me we need a new title application as the dealer ship had listed themselves as lessor instead of finance co. Called Pride title dept and left a few messages about this to Sue. For three days I called and SUe was out sick. Finaly someone else in that department called me and left a message that they had fixed mistake and that there was no reason to call them again. More calls to fiance co. Called Nh registry told mistake not corrected. To make the story short after 6 weeks of many many phone calls to many people including sales manager at pride, NH registry tells me wha tthe error was and that they had sent 5 letters to pride since April requesting they sign a new corrected title application. The last time I called Sue at Pride on Sept 6 so was very rude to me telling me she had already told me that I needed to go to NH registry - she had never told me this, when I questioned her as to why I had to go to NH she said that is how you get the regist. Transferred from R.I. To NH I could not believe that after all my calls she still did not have the story straight. I spoke to s supervisor yesterday at the fiance co and she was very nice agree it was the dealerships problem and that I should not have had to deal with it myself. She told me to file a complaint. This was one of the most stressful experiences I have ever had. The poorest customer care I have ever imagined. I planned to lease another vehicle here in three years when this lease was up. But no way after this experience. My registration expires the end of Sept. And I still do not have the info needed to transfer the registration. I have a heart condition and suffered extreme symptoms during this experience. I feel I deserve some kind of compensation or this horrific experience. I have a scheduled maintenance appt tomorrow for my will it be free of charge???
