My father who is 83 purchased a car from Pride Hyundai. He was told he was buying an extended warranty which was included in the price of the car. My father did not realize he had to pay almost $4,000 for this insurance. He was deliberately mislead by this company. My dad appears competent but he is very forgetful and gets confused easily. The car broke down and he had it towed to a garage near our house. The car overheated and according to my dad the warning light did not go off. As soon as he was aware there was a problem he pulled off the road to safety and called for help. Neither Pride Hyundai or Wachovia warranty will honor the warranty. My dad bought another car from a reputable dealer but needs help dealing with Pride and Wachovia. He needs to get out from under the loan which was misrepresented to him verbally. He trausted the sales man and was deliberately mislead.
