I paid (200 dollars to Assurant solutions to insure an Acer computer I purchased form Staples), an Assurant solutions warranty. After I purchased my computer in 2010. From my Inital call to Assurant they stated that I did not have a warranty and I contacted Staples to prove I purchased a warranty. During the course over several months, I was haggled, rejected, had to pay for coverage out of pocket, with Acer computer corporation. When Acer serviced my computer they, (Acer) never told me I needed a battery. The Assurant solution staff was rude, and my computer is still broken. Now they claim my battery is defective and I have to replace it because it is a consumable item. The ticket i received stated that the battery is defective. I believe that Assurant put that ticket there because they do not want to replace a defective computer. The supervisor William (416531) very rude as well as Daniel and other representatives (8/27, Jim and Al on 8/9, to be replaced. They should have replaced my computer because of the amount of repairs, due to the fact I had to have Acer try and repair my product while they accepted the fact that I had a warranty. Their excuse for not acknowledging my warranty was because: they had my warranty under a secondary number and not my home (primary number).
Your Desired Resolution:
I would like a replacement and my warranty restored, or all of my money back due to my time and convenience. As well as having to speak to rude angry customer service operators.
