I was in the process of losing my home in July of last year, and the announced foreclosure sale date was the end of July. All State Law Group (Realty Law Center) sent me a solicitation and said they could stop the foreclosure sale and help me to get a loan mod done and get me a lower rate. They sounded honest and sincere, and very knowledgeable. They didn't seem shady at all. I did everything they asked me to, including filing for bankruptcy to stop the sale of the house. Stupidly, I gave them money up front, but I was desperate, and I trusted them. On the day of the scheduled sale, they told me that the sale had been stopped, and I believed them. Then, I started getting notices in the mail stating that the house had been sold, and I started receiving offers from companies who would help me to stay in the home as long as possible after foreclosure. All State kept lying to me and saying that the house hadn't sold. Unlike the other stories, they did continue to keep in touch with me and assure me that the house was still mine, until official court paperwork was served on me that said the house had sold. After that, the numbers were disconnected when I tried to call them. Now I see that they resurfaced and started robbing people again. Something has to be done to stop these thieves from blatantly stealing people's money, and still continuing to operate freely to steal some more. What can I do?
