I called a number in my Microsoft package hinking I was calling Microsof help. I was not aware I was in touch with vtechsquad. I let "Microsoft" have access to my computer. The technician told me I have infections and demanded $250. If I didn't pay, my computer would crash. I gave the credit card information and then subsequently realized I was not dealing with Microsoft. I immediately asked for cancellation. The technician refused and then started so called work on my computer. As far as I am concerned I was scammed.
