The Coupon Information Corporation (a.K.A. CIC or Coupon Information Center) headed by Bud Miller is supposed to be an organization that wants to prevent manufacturer coupon fraud, epecially of so-called "FREE" coupons (coupons for a free item). They build themselves up on their website as really being dedicated to this cause especially to stop the sale of coupons on online auction sites. But it's all a lie.
The CIC and Miller is an organization of coupon sellers themselves. All they are doing is claiming others are frauds and reporting them to the various manufacturers, businesses, FBI or police so they can free up the market for themselves. Miller and the C.I.C. Are just jealous competitors trying to corner the market.
If you search in online auction sites you will see the online auction seller IDs of Couponsforever and Akamai-shopper, for example (there are more). They advertise their connection to CIC in all their auctions for coupons for Free products. These sellers claim their coupons are okayed by the CIC. Hogwash. They are just part of Miller's organization. Potential buyers see that Miller and the CIC have given these sellers and many others the seal of approval and buy from them rather than other sellers' not endorsed by him and his organization.
Answer me this, you can read about Miller blabbering about how he does all this stuff to stop coupon sellers but have you ever seen any company, business, manufacturer or cop that actually credits Miller and the CIC with anything? Heck no you don't because his site is fake and just a bunch of blatherings anyone could slap together. Sure there are some news sources that contact him for his input because when they do online research for fake coupons his name and organization pops up but only because of all his threats and ramblings not because any company or agency puts any credibility in him.
