Scaffold Rental Deposit Refund Dispute and $68.27 Charge

I rented an interior scaffold from Home Depot. I was told it was $29.00 per day with a $250.00 deposit. I took it back the next day and was told they would refund the deposit and charge me $68.27, the cost for 2-Scaffold. I went back to get that money back, and the manager could not resolve my issue. Please help me.
