Initial contact with me was 3/8. The initial $! 490 deposit/"activation fee" was for ten weeks of rental ($149 per week). This was to produce a $1,200 rental fee x 10 weeks — RIGHT! Could not reach provided contacts (individual numbers not valid); left messages on CCTN tele #. Calls finally returned 7/13 and I was told that the two contacts I had talked to were no longer with CCTN; then I was advised that my property would be put on a priority list for rental. On 7/25 a "new" company (Eastern Property Funding) indicated that they would be handling my account. They wanted another $1,975 dollars to do the same rental. Of course, I said no. Contact advised that I could get in touch with CCTN and demand the original money paid because they were liable for the return of my money. When I try to call CCTN, there is a telephone recording that states (# cannot receive calls @ this time; try later." Obviously, I have been bilked out of my money. I have talked with an established agent for my timeshare; one that does not change their name (CTN, CCT and more than likely Eastern Property Funding — which will not return my calls). Needless to say, I will be pursuing at least telemarketing fraud complaints and monetary restitution through my state (IN) and the states of Georgia and Virginia. I will also be advising my resort timeshare affiliate in Florida. DO NOT trust this telemarketing "company" without checking online for their history and legitimacy (and through references).
