Call was received, looking for RCI extra weeks to rent out for the upcoming Kentucky Derby. But fees needed to be paid up front to make the 12 units available for rental. Ad contract was signed, with payment of $1788.00, dated 3/19 and posted to bank CC on 3/20. Contract set up a 90-day advertising. "The fee is for contracts, marketing, and advertising expenses to maximize exposure and promote the rental of my weeks.ccTN agrees to forward any requests made for the sale of the property as well. Any action taken after a request is made is handled by me, the owner of the property." CCTN says they are NOT a real estate broker. "CCTN establishes a 90 day advertising cycle and assumes that my property unit rents within 90 days unless I advise to the contrary, prior to the expiration of the 90 day period." It goes on to say that we must contact them every 90 days and upon request that they will renew the same advertising for the next cycle. They will continue to market it "until it is rented", and will inclue direct marketing fees to corporatios and event planners. Apparently, there are NO companies who are interested, and calls to CCTN go to a voicemail without response.
