I found this site before I ordered my oddolls (yes, plural) from Debbie. After reading all of these, I was extremely hesitant but I had been admiring her work for years and finally was able to order one. My husband ordered two from her Etsy site and we had no problems at all so then we sent her an e-mail and had her design and make us six very specific dolls which we specified were going to be given as presents so they would be time sensitive. I did place the order in March for a shipment I received in July and did not need till mid August. I told her about my reservations as I had seen this page... Not only was she very kind letting me pay half up front and half after they were made, she provided me with her home phone and address.
Debbie and I were in constant communication throughout the entire process and she was extremely pleasant. My experience was NOTHING at all like what anyone else has had to deal with. One doll arrived and had lost his foot in transport and she agreed to fix him and ship him back free of charge.in my opinion she went above and beyond what any merchant I've ever done business with has ever done and produced phenomenal products. I second what the gentleman earlier said, that she must have over-extended herself and fallen ill to some actual health issues.
