PODS lies about their charges

I used PODS to store and move my furniture when I moved recently. I was storing the container at a PODS location and paying $191.68 every month for this service. I then paid $311 to have to container delivered to my new house and then picked up once it was empty. Since I live in a town that is about 1.5 hours away from a PODS center, the pick-up and deliveries are only done on Wednesdays. When I called to schedule a pick-up, the employee that I spoke with assured me that if the container was delivered to my house before the 16th of the month, I would only have to pay the $311 delivery and pick-up fee and would not have to pay the monthly storage fee of $191.68. The container was delivered on the 15th. We had it unloaded and ready to be returned that night. It couldn't be picked up until the following Wednesday, however, because the company only does pick-ups and deliveries to our town on Wednesdays. The next day, I noticed that the $311 plus the $191.68 had both been deducted from my account. When I called to rectify this, I was told that the employee I spoke with was misinformed and that the monthly fee would be charged that month. The woman I spoke with simply apologized and stated there was nothing she could do. When I am told one thing and then experience something completely different, it's infuriating. Apparently, PODS needs better employee training. I will never use them again.
