I would not recommend anybody use this salon.

I purchased 3 pamper vouchers that were advertised through Groupon but actually bought them direct through one of the managers (Bev) as a gift for my pregnant girlfriend plus 2 guests.

Myself and my girlfriend have had nothing but trouble with the staff since the vouchers were purchased in Dec. Paid £135, complete waste of money, trying to make an appointment was hard work, staff didnt seem to know what the vouchers were even for. My girlfriend finally made an appointment for May, 2 days before was asked to change it, staff said if she changed the appointment she would get more time with more treatments compared to if she went on the day she had pre-booked. The reason she was told was due to staff sickness, although this appointment had been made atleast 4-5 weeks in advance due to her and the 2 guests working shifts, which was explained to the member of staff whom she made the booking with. Seemed unfair that if she went on the day she had booked she would basically be getting ripped off (only having 2hrs instead of the full entitlement). I understand staff are off sick but that should not be a customer problem.

My girlfriend decided not to go on the day she had originally booked (would be getting ripped off) but could not make another appointment, 1) because it is not easy for her and the 2 guests to book days off, they have to be booked well in advance and 2) my girlfriend was heavily pregnant and had made the appointment around this. We therefore decided to ask for a refund, which has turned out to be nothing but trouble dealing with a business that clearly do not have customer service as a priority.

Initially spoke to Bev who advised my girlfriend to send an e-mail asking for a refund, which she did on 2 occasions with no reply. Phoned the salon after having no reply, she spoke with another member of staff (think his name was Jake) called himself a manager. The way in which he spoke to my girlfriend was disgusting, major attitude and to be honest had the attitude of a teenager who sounded like he was going through puberty. Had a complete lack of respect.

I have read other reviews on here, saying similar comments, staff unprofessional etc, which we are in total agreement with. Seems like a very chaotic and unorganised salon, staff who clearly have no people skills and lack the ability to deal with customers in a professional manner.

We have sent a letter of complaint to the salon, still no respone (surprise surprise). Now going to the Office of Fair Trading.

There are much better salons out there to use if anybody is thinking of getting vouchers. Do not use j2a.
