Purchased Samsung Plasma screen TV in November. A week ago the set began making hissing/popping sounds from an area behind the power button then blinked out. Set will not turn on, popping/crackling and SPARKS noted at same area in rear of set. Contacted Samsung and the silence from them on this COMMON issue has been deafening. I was referred to a national service clearing house -USSI - as a 'repair facility' yet USSI has no record of Samsung's contacting them regarding the matter. This set is under fullk warranty and Samsung will not arrange for reasonable evaluation or repair. Very concerned and frustrated.
