Poor salon service

We attempted to get my daughters hair cut and colored twice at firewheel with NAME. The first time it was cancelled thirty minutes before the appointment because he was in the hospital. We understood that, no worries. Today we went for the rescheduled appointment and waited thirty minutes before they finally called the manager, who by the way knew he had an accident and was in the hospital, again. Coincidence? Maybe.
We called Collin creek and they did get us in right away with Jacki the manager. She was ok at best, turns out we didn't do the color because it would have been over 220.00 without tip. We did a trim which seemed difficult to explain and definitely not worth the 45.00. Ulta used to be a good alternative to the costly salons but I think I will stick with those. Better service!
