This s a mortgage company proficio Mortgage, I started with this company back in june, I had companies lined up to do my loan, proficio mortgage had offered me a 25 year of what I thought was a locked in rate, so I went with them. The loan was drawn out for over 2 months, after I paid for the appraisal of $475.00 2 days before my loan officer tells me that we are going to close the loan. He mysteriously disapears and the regional manager calls me to make me aware that I was in a float rate not locked in, and that I would need to come up with 2,000.00 whch was never talked about. He also told methat the quote that was originally given to me won't happen? So he works up new #'s 10,000.00 dollars more added on to my loan later and in a 30 year locked I rate not 25. I at this point had enough and didn't want to follow through with these obsered numbers. The information given to me from the original loan officer is that we would close in 2 weeks. And for 2 months I was strung along and told everything was ready to go. After speaking with the regional manger and feeling like a piece of crap I decided not to follow through with the loan. (he had said things like I will have to refigure out your numbers again but just give me a few days I am closing on 10,000, 00,00 deals and will get it soon. A week later he called me and made comments like I don't thing you understand or get the numbers. I just wanted the $475.00 that I paid for the appraisal. I signed the form asking to have the appraisal done because the loan officer needed to have it done. I told him that I already new my house was worth well more than what I owe. He said they needed to do the appraisal anyways. I was fine with this after because I thought the loan was going somewhere, (Apparently I was at fault for believing things were good, and trusting that they were doing the right thing). I have been through this before and have never experienced such poor Customer service or just the way the companys run. I don't get how they can just scam people and not have a positive outcome.
