Homeorapartment.com is falsely promoting their business as home rental. Five of fifteen home for rent postings in my area have landed me on the phone with homeorapartment.com.
They claim to want your personal information to run credit checks - and make a point of telling they don't need good credit to approve them for rent to own — so that you can rent to own a 900,000.00 home in Santa Barbara, CA for $350.00 per month. They only need a couple hundred dollars to get started.
With me, they tried for Name, Phone Number, Email; then they want Social Security # for the credit check and a Credit Card for the couple hundred dollar annual recurring membership fee. I gave them nothing.
