United parcel services has accepted consignments to deliver several parcels of varying value from vendors that they deliberately marked as refused by customer. This act was done intentionally to intervene in the normal course of commerce between the vendor, shop nbc, eden prairie mn, and the customer, thomas p. Matzin of germantown, md.
The driver acting without authority or directive of the customer did direct and indicate that the customer made specific requests regarding the parcel (s) to the company, ups, causing a redirection, and, direct interruption of the item purchased by the customer. This activity has been habitual and deliberate in nature, causing a nullification of interstate commerce without due reason or cause.
These deliberate acts have created a loss of revenue for the vendors and an inability of the customer to order products of various nature and purpose, these would include medical supplies that can result in medical non treatment and services that may put the recipients livelihood in jeopardy.
Attempts to resolve the matter have fallen on deft ears, management stands behind the actions and decisions of the drivers, and i will add that this driver delivers to homes on my street on a regular basis.
This, i believe is a classic case of obstruction of interstate commerce and an action that affects everyday commerce by one person. Please advise me of actions taken to remedy this outlaw behavior. Thomas p. Matzkin (personal info removed).
