On or about June 3 while visiting relatives in Branford, Connecticut I purchased several items amounting to approximately $100 at P.S. Stationers in Branford, CN. Among the items purchased was a small bowl, a gift for my wife. The sales lady, Sally wrapped the item, with another I purchased. She asked the owner, Salvatore Esposito if he had any bubble paper and he told her, no. She wrapped the gift in paper sealed the box and I paid her.
I hand carried the box on the airplane to Dallas, Tx. When my wife opened the box that evening she discovered the broken piece.
I subsequently called and spoke to Sally who told me she would see if the manufacturer had a similar replacement. After not hearing from her in 10 days I emailed the owner, who told me it was not their fault and they would not compensate us for the broken piece.
