I book all of my travel needs with travolicty and recently had a terrible experience. I booked a reserveration for the Howard Johnston in Staton, CA for a vacation through Travelocity. We arrived at the hotel and it was absolutely disgusting! The room smelled as if someone had died in there with an underlying stinch of cigarette smoke. We could not take it. We went to the front lobby office to request a new room. It was just as bad. We had to change hotels. I immediately contacted Travelocity. I was put on hold for 42 minutes while they contacted the hotel. Then I was hung up on. I called back and again waited on hold for 31 minutes. I was then told I had to call back monday through friday and speak with a supervisor regarding a refund. I have called back everyday, and even twice a day since. Still no refund and still being hung up everytime I call. I am outraged that Travelocity would hire people to represent their company with this kind of customer service mentality! If they don't like the complaint, they just hang up on the customer! I will never use Travelocity again and I will file a small claims against them.
