On April 1st we purchased 'gas' from this station. Our car broke down within 3 blocks. The car was towed to A-CAR repair shop on 1160 E Walnut in Pasadena. It was Sunday and so the car was not fixed until the next day by removing and flushing the gas tank. Lucky the engine was not damaged. My wife and I live in the Bay Area and were returning home that day. We had to borrow a car from a relative to drive up. They in turn had to rent a car for two days from enterprise rentals until our car was fixed and they could pick it up from the repair shop. We had to make a special trip back to Pasadena to retrieve our car 2 weeks later. We contacted the owners and gave them all the receipts from the car repair rental etc and asked to be compensated for the about it cost us. We have not heard from them since. This may be hearsay but the repair shop said they had many other cars that day with the same problem (water in gas) from the same gas station. Resolution Sought: We would like FHM to reimburse us to the amount of $693.64.$37.16 original gas (with water) cost; $196.75 car repair; 59.73 car rental; $400 gas and mileage for 800 miles round trip from Bay Area to Pasadena to pick our car (at $0.5/mile) = $693.64. We have receipts for all these requests.
