I bought my car to Valeris Service Station to repair a drop in idle speed. They said it was a injector problem and the cost of the repair would be $325 plus tax. Then later in the day, I get a call saying they are having a problem with the repair and will call me the next day. Next day I was told they have to replace a $24 gasket part and it takes 6 hours, the cost $594.98.
The 6 hours turned out to be 1 week and the problem was not fixed. I took it to Nissan dealer to get it fixed correctly at a cost of $363.58. It turned out that the computer needed calibration and fuel injectors needed cleaning. Also the engine needed a flush due to gasoline found in the oil (caused by Valeris Service Station taking engine apart).
I spent $594.98 for an unecessary repair. Valeris is listed with the BBB and Consumer Affairs. I filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs twice and am still waiting for a reply. People should avoid being their cars to Valeris Service Station!
