Someone called our office wanting to verify basic information (ie address, telephone, etc) so I verified. I honestly don't remember anything after verifying that stuff, but they played back a recording with me saying yes to a bill for $599. Three months later, I receive a collections notice them, which I of course don't remember. I call back and they play that recording. I just want to know if anyone else has paid. Do they actually send you to collections and will it actually hold up in court? Since this is clearly a scam.
