Last March I terminated my account with Equifax. On April 2 nd and the 23 rd, then again on May 20 th, they took money from my checking account totaling $51.81. When I complained they asked for proof, I sent them my bank statement. They said that was not good enough and asked for my user ID. I never needed nor asked for a user ID when I had an account with them. So they basically told me I they were sorry, but there was no way they could help me without that user ID. I'm a retired, disabled vet on a fixed income and the company who claims to be at the forefront of consumer protection, ripped me off. They don't need a user ID to take our money, but they need one to put it back.
