I received a phone call stating that I would be receiving a new Medicare card and needed to verify some details. Among them a request for my bank and account number. Foolishly, I gave them. I worried about it and checked my bank records. On 06/07 I was billed for $447.38... The check number was 1102... Which on my records was used a year ago for a Macy payment $46.88. I talked to the banker and was told they would 'look into it'.
