WIndows Service Sation
Consumer Report

I was solicited via telephone by a supposed representative of Windows Service Station and she told me my computer had been sending numerous error reports and she was going to fix that for me. The name that she gave was "Evelyn Smith" who said she was a senior technician; told me her phone # was 323-606-8054 and her employee number was 10073. I allowed her remote access to my computer (BIG MISTAKE) and she showed me a screen with numerous error reports. She said it would take aprrox 1 hr to fix and she would stay on my computer and I was to check back within the hour. She also told me if anyone else called, and couldn't give me the pass code (which she stated was ANGEL) that I was to hang up immediately. She said cleaning all of the error reports would cost me 210.00 and wanted my credit card to process the fee (like an idiot I gave it to her). Then I got a call from a person (Eric Jones) who said the first lady scammed me and he wanted to give my money back, but to do that he needed 3 of my credit cards (the first 2 didn't "go through") I asked for his phone # which he gave as 01233-280-730. Email was [email protected]. He said in order to recover my money ($210.00) I was to transfer to them $500.00 via Western Union because they were not authorized to write a check for any less than $500.00, then they would send me what I was owed plus $50.00 for my aggravation. I refused and said I was going to report him. Shortly after that conversation ended, another man (within 5 min) who sounded exactly like the previous caller. He said he name was Shawn Smith. I requested his address which he gave me as 1928 California Street, Blueberry, California 22501. I told him that the zip code didnt match that area of the country and he wanted to giveme a new password to help me recover my money. I told him I was reporting him for fraud. The number that came up in my caller ID were: 206-456-0661,206-456-0661 and 253-236-2032. Today, I received 3 more calls from what sounds like the same individual (heavy Indian accent)- my caller ID at this time just said "Private Caller". This has really upset me and I know I should have known better but the first caller was very convincing and when she said she was with Windows Service I automatically took that as authenticity. I have changed my other cards, have notified Western Union and would like the appropriate action taken against these fraudulent individuals. Please advise.
