Complaint / Review
Md 24/7
Rude, questioable, poor customer service

Got a phone call around 10:00am on June 6 from (855) 890-2180. Didn't catch the name of the guy, but he said he was a representative of MD 24/7. He immediately told me that I was going to receive a $100 gift card for enrolling in the program. Speaking from my own research, that's red flag #1 that someone's trying to SCAM you. Then he proceeded to tell me about their services, at which point I was polite in saying that I already have very good health insurance through my employer & wasn't interested. Red flag #2: he wouldn't just say thank you or have a nice day. No, he rudely and abruptly told me to let him finish explaining the services to me. So I humored him, then he asked me if I still received mail at my home address, which he already knew my home address. Not sure how he did, but it's not cool. He also knew that I have a Visa or Mastercard of some sort. I would love to know how they get this private information from people. Do they actually have a database that's legal & legit? Or do they just guess until you tell them? That's red flag #3.

After he explained most of the service to me, I once again, very politely, told him that I wasn't interested, that I couldn't afford another monthly payment right now, and that I was trying to save him the time of explaining anymore of this to me. He then abruptly hung up in my face. I really hate that because I think it's one of the rudest thing's you can do to a person, which is why I was respectful enough to not just hang up in his face. What a jerk. Started researching them online and have found nothing but people who have had similar or worse experiences with this SCAM, and I mean SCAM. I've seen the rebuttal letter's that the "founder" or "ceo" or whatever he call's himself has written. All I have to say to him is that if it is a legit company, they have a long way to go & need to take a look at how they're doing business, because it's borderline unethical! This SCAM is similar to that magazine subscription SCAM that was goin on a while back.in fact, the opening statement from the md24/7 rep almost mirror's the one from the magazine rep!

Let's review-

Red flag #1: Offer's you a $100 gift card even though they don't know you from Tom's house cat.

Red flag#2: Won't just let you off of the phone, even if you tell them you're not interested.

Red flag#3: They have personal information about you that they really shouldn't have.

Red flag#4: Hang's up in your face when you make it clear that you're not buying.

I really hope this helps anyone who may be or has already been scammed by these people, and I hope the FBI or whatever government agency that investigates these fraudulent companies tears these guy's a new one. Thanks for providing those of us who keep getting screwed or bothered by scammers a platform to vent about it.
